1.
If memory's one small glance of what we'd be I say you fire your synapse and reconsider what you believe Oh yeah you think you saw a ghost hanging out by the trees But maybe that ghost was me When our loves runs to the ditch we'll skin our knees Don't worry we'll mend baby because the pain is all Oh yes the pain is what we need Oh yeah you think you saw a ghost hanging out by the trees But baby that ghost was me
2.
We're breathing undersea just to live a dream So fuck your hands and feet let's go We're living in the dirt and washing 'til it hurts Yeah fuck your basic needs let's go Because we don't have much time Before we're forging futures in a fog So blame the broken words for knowing they're absurd Yeah fuck the wicked speech The polyester plan is learn to grow then bend So fuck your hometown scene let's go. Because we don't have much time Before we're forging futures in a fog We're breathing undersea just to live a dream So fuck your hands and feet let's go We know we need new things But situations can be snaring So force the sleep away Cane the rooster stray Because we don't have much time Before we're forging futures in a fog If you need to mend and a man to call it's okay I'll be standing right there again I'll be standing there 'til the end
3.
What I saw is what I saw in a room I've been before In that spot against the wall laid the surface of a moon that fell And all those dead men who tell no tales were all talkin' to me What I saw is where I'll crawl if I move around with my own name Cause in that spot I'm sure to sprawl if another pushes me away And all those dead men who tell no tales were all talkin' to me

about

Three years ago today I was woke by a phone call telling me that my father had suddenly passed away so to pay my respect and prove that his memory stays with me I decided to record three stripped down versions of songs that I felt were pertinent to his life and that I am proud to say I've penned.
The third track in particular (Tell-Tale) was written the day after I visited my fathers remains at the same funeral home I paid my final respects to my dear friend Matt a few years before.
With that being said I hope you enjoy my work and use this thanksgiving day to be thankful for the people who helped shaped your life and the ones who are still there helping you carve away.
Thanks so much to all of you who've been in my corner over the years. You know who you are and you know how much I owe you.
